We did frenchtek in a Micra with a full car…it was great, worth the trip and filled that gap in my soul for all the dissapointing parties i went too here in the UK that year but for some stupid reason we indulged in buying some of the French cheese for a picnic on the way back but unfortunately we didnt eat all the cheese and the car didn’t have air conditioning AND there were three blokes in the car with stinking raver feet. Nice.

They sponsored a few artists to put their work on the back of a surf shop today on our high street…supplied the scaffolding and all sorts.

Draft it out on pretty paper and with smnelly pens and bubble writing if you must ahaha, i always find the boxes and dulness of forms put me right off looking at them…especially forms that involve giving money. It’s all about the interview for jobs like that anyway…just breeze in and show them you’re the right person to invest serious time in…sounds like you have the enthusiasm!

I know many people who trade in antiques and retro/vintage gear and would share your passion, i’m not knocking it nice to see you have the fire .
I’d rather support a local business like this than Ikea, like i said it was one of the only independent shops in the area they had some gifts that made me and my friends laugh, simple as that.

Funnily enough I did ponder about the title but i didn’t think anybody would be so anal/passionate about defining the word retro, it is their headline after all.
fair do’s aha i liked going in there for the comedy factor and its pretty much the only one of its kind in this area…and not to expensive.

Im not sure but i caught a few moments of some fishing programme and i turned to my bloke and said “Do you think when the fish are released back to the sea they go to all the other fish, woah man i was lured toward the sun and got taken on board some ship some weird species with beards and long things looked at me a bit, prodded about then they held me up and there was a flash then they chucked me back to the sea” obviously the other fish would reply with utter disbelief, especially the rarer ones that have only been seen once or twice.

I haven’t used the site as much as other members, but no stranger to forums. I like the look its fresh, the scheme and layout of forum really makes a difference to the way people post in my opinion.

We’ve just bought some acrylics and paper and other bits and bobs and going to get all creative and listen to some tunes and eat some lovely food while we watch all the pissheads from our flat then get up early to go and fly a stunt kite up the moores or something.

hmmm Crysal castles are playing on the John Peel stage at Glasto, im not sure what he’d quite make of it.
Their “Alice practice” tune and infact most of the stuff i have heard of theirs has just incorparated sonic the hedgehog sounds or flipping mario and put in kerazy sounding beats.
The thing is with Alice practice it is actually quite catchy then i realised its because i spent a large amount of my childhood and inact life playing Sonic the fucking hedgehog.
ANOTHER thing is Pendulum have done something similar tapped into a genration of comuterzoids, their trademark wooomp warrrm wa wa wammp sound that gets heard even in the most cheesiest of clubs makes girls and boys alike that wouldnt even dream of listening to anything other than will young or r’n’b go crazy…

It did leave an awful lot of questions unanswered and there were a lot of holes in the research but it was fun to think what it would be like, quite hard to fit into a documentary of an hour or so, seemed a bit rushed to me.
Id rather have a dog that brings me my paper in tact and rubs my legs in a nice warm manner than a famous one who hoilds the title for being a heavyweight and tears anything in its path, bless him.
